As a basis on which to work it is suggested that probably a fair exchange of labor for farm products would be about as follows :4 days work for one ton of alfalfa hay; 1 days work for three bushels of wheat; 1 days work for four bushels of potatoes. Farm labor on most other products to be adjusted according to market price. Those desiring to take advantage of this exchange should kindly report at the city office as there are blanks there to be filled out making the wants known of either the farmer or the consumer. PER YEAR New Plan Submitted to Open Closed State Bank of Payson Stake Quarterly Conference Notice Nebo Stake Quarterly Conference will be held in the Nebo Stake Tabernacle at Payson, on Saturday and Sunday, June 18th and 19th 1932. Opening session on Saturday June 18, at 8 p. m. Sessions on Sunday, June 19th at 10 A. M. and 2 P. M. M. I. A Conference Sunday evening at 8 P. M. All members of the stake are invited and expected to be in attendance, and others will be welcome. At a meeting of the depositors of the closed State Bank of Payson, held Thursday night in the Tabernacle, a new plan was presented for opening a new state bank in this city. In an agreement submitted to the depositors, T. P. Thomas and his business associates from Spanish Fork wish to acquire the assets of the bank together with the stockholders lialdlity, and in turn agree to open a new state bank in the near future, provided the agreement is signed up to 90 per cent of the deposits. The depositors waive 45 per cent of their deposits and the remaining 55 per cent will be deposited in the savings department subject to interest at 4 per cent. Such deposits are subject to withdrawal as follows: 10 per cent on or before 30 days from the date hank is opened for business; 10 per cent on or before December 31st; 20 per cent each succeeding December until 193G. In addition to the waiver by the depositors, $35,000 in new stock must be .subscribed. The Thomas interests require that 50 per cent or more of this stock be raised locally and indications are favorable to this.
