Owen Last weeks paper had some good things to say about the new school principle, John C. Carlisle. of As a friend and acquaintance both Mr. and Mrs. Carlisle, let me pass on a good word for both of them. I met Mr. Carlisle when he first went to Heaver as an English teacher had a student under him and know the cry set up hy the boys ami girls who lost an excellent teacher but gain ed a wonderful superintendent when his ability was quickly recognized ami the boyish looking superintendent stop ed gracefully into his realm. Things speedily began to shape themselves into a more satisfactory setting. A happier atmosphere permuted the school. Superintendent and Mrs. Carlisle were Imth friendly and helpful in the community. It was my great pleasure to be associated with her in her activity with the relief society stake board, where she rendered competent and gratifying service in the Social Welfare department. And if the relief society needed an informed and interesting speaker along literary lines, Superintendent Carlisle could tell you more in ten minutes than some people ever know. And, personally, I think a little praise never spoils real folks, so pass along the kind word. Isabelle Ruby Owen.
