This ordinance shall take , effect upon its passage and publication in one issue of the Payson Chronicle. Passed by the City Council of Pay-so- n City, county of Utah, state of Utah, this 18th day of February, A. ot ot One of the most important factors that made the recent reductions in Long Distance rates, effective February 1, was thp ini reused use of the service from day to day In 1923, for example, an average of 3430 long distance calls were placed each day from various parts of the state. In 1928 the daily average in Utah was 4911. In 1923 an aveiage of 24,590 calls to distant points originated each day in the entire Mountain States territory. In 1928 the number had increased to 31,819. If, under the latest schedule of rate reductions, the use of Long Distance continues to increase, it not only tells a story of the telephone's increasing value in your business and social life, but unmistakably indicates a growing Utah. po-sib- le A STATEMENT OF POLICY Today, practically any one anywhere can talk by telephone with any one else, anywhere iu the country. Results of Second Term Test In of Ford of simplicity design is es pecially apparent in the fuel tvstem. The gasoline tank is built integral with the cowl and is mutually sturdy because it is made qf heavy sheet steel, tcrac plated to prevent rust or corrosion. An additional fueler of strength is the fact tliet it is composed of only tno pieces, instead of three or lour, and is electrically yielded not soldgred. Because of the location of the tank, the entire flow of guAoline is an even, natural how following the natural law of gravity. This is the simplest and most direct way of supplying gasoline to the carburetor without variations in pressure. The gasoline feed pipe of the new Ford is only 18 inches long and is easily accessible all the way. Since all adjustments are fixed except the needle valve and idler, there is pracli- tally nothing to get out of order. The choke rod on the dash acts as a primer and also as a regulator of your gasoline mixture. The new hot spot manifold insures complete aporization of the gasoline before it enters the combustion chamber of the engine. As a matter of fact, the fuel system of the new Ford is so simple in design and so carefully made that it requires very little service attention. The filter or sediment bulb should be cleaned at regular intervals and the carburetor screen removed and washed iq gasoline. Occasionally the drain plug at the bottom of the carburetor should be removed and the The gasoline passes from carburetor drained for a the tank to the carburetor few seconds. through a filter or sediment Have your Ford dealer bulb mounted on the steel look after these important dash which .separates the little details you when gasoline tank from the you have the for car oiled and engine.
