Edmonds manager of the Utah Poultry Producers’ Cooperative Association Bogus traveling peddlers are virtually associatstealing the profits of many ion members by selling remedies many of them worthless at outrageous prices Many of the "quacks” find markets for their by dramatically playing on the producers’ fear of the disease Some of the remedies though danger they have merit as disease preventa-tlve- s and cures are priced as high as ten times their actual value At a recent conference of the entire staff of poultry veterinarians serving the Utah Poultry Association medicines necessary for the control and prevention of disease in flocks were discussed in detail The experts were unamously in favor of reducing costs of these remedies to the producers by purchasing the
