Show County Chronicle Progress Millard Delta South Elementary Due to recent abducUtah and the vast concern of parents the Millard County Sheriff"s Department sponsored a child identification proElgram at Delta South ementary School Decem- and 4 from 3 00 ber pm to 8 00 p m Children were weighed and measured by Boy Scouts Tyrel Tyler Caier Kelsey and Mitch Lee This was part of Tyler's Tagle Scout project Personnel from the Millard County Sheriff’s Department and volunteers presented each child with an identification kit Ihey fineerpnnud the children and gave instructions to parents about the DV tot that would be performed at home Kits contained personal information about each child and parents were encouraged to have 2 pictures of the child attached to the information booklet Kits arc kept at home with the parents Children from the ages ol birth to 18 years of age were encouiaged to take tdv antage of th is program We wish to thank the Millard County Sheriff s Department for donating the kits to families Tho involved were Deputy Garth White and in the Millard Countv area Forrest Roper Other volunteers who helped with this project were Sonya Lieutenant Tern and Jones Thank you volunteers and the Millard Countv Caier Janet Lindquist Sheriff" for this important program to our a'ca 12 2002 Page OPEN LVTEJ J Child Identification Program December tions in Veteran’s Day Winners Cash awards and certificates were awarded at Delta to students South Elementary School by the Post 35 of the j American Legion Cash jL pries were donated by the Zion's Bank and the -
