She has four brothers and four sisters She attended Ladera Elementary and graduated from Aviation High School ShehasanendedEICamino College BYU and SUU She is married to Terry Lisonbee a California and Utah native The couple has 5 sons daughter and 2 grandchildren The Lisonbees met at the LDS stitute of Religion at El Camino College Mrs Lisonbee has worked as an and structional Assistant in the Title I programs in the district Prior to the cument school year she served as an ESL teacher at Delta North and Delta South Elementanes In her spare time Margie enjoys reading gardening crocheting skiing and doing most anything on the computer One of her fondest memories from her elementary years was listening to her fourth grade teacher Mrs Jones read The “I Can Read” program at the Fillmore ementary School received new books thei week These books were purchased with funds donated by local businesses the PTA and matching funds from the State Office of Education We currently have 35 volunteer adult tutors who come into the school to help children who need extra help in reading These tors are really making a difference for these children We still have children who don’t have a tutor If you would be willing to help with this program please contact the school Tutoring sessions are 12 hour ling This is a great program We invite you to come into our school and be involved in helping kids We would appreciate any help you could give Have you petted a grizzly bear lately? Lisonbee ii a v' Character Counts Students at DSE have been making a great effort to be caught being responsible there efforts are really paying off Each of the teachers have been filling out slips on individual students that have been caught doing responsible things Each of these slips are being displayed down the longest hall at DSE Its a great sight! We’re certainly proud of these students and know that their actions are being seen by others Example is a great teacher and these students are helping teach others about being responsible and about building good character Congratulations to all of them! 2nd Grade ‘World’s Fair’ Margie Lisonbee The Island of the Blue Dolphins She remembers hurrying in from lunch recess so she wouldn't miss any of the story!
