Choristers will comprise of children ages first through fourth grades and The Pahvant Youth Chorale for youth ages fifth through 31 eighth grades The groups will be directed by Mrs W Paxman a native of Fillmore has recently returned to the area She received her Bachelor's of Music Education from the University of Oklahoma with Distinction in 1987 and has a Kodaly Certificate (a graduate certificate in a method of music education and children's choir) She has also done graduate work with Helen Kemp of the West Minster Boys’ Choir (a world renown boys choir) Rozanne County FSA LAA’s ia Millard County Each year one LAA elects a farmer to serve on the COC for a 3 year L farmers and ranch terrm On December ers from LAA elected Ladd Holman to replace Garth Lake on the COC Holman will take office January 1999 He will join Venez Johnson from LAA 3 and Tony Stanworth from LAA 2 members Extension on the Committee are Mike Pace and Phil Pikyavit Agent COC advisor The County Committee provides a valuable service to the farmers and producers in Millard County We appreciate the willingness of these producers to serve Project Hope completes successful year The organizers and youth associated with Project Hope wish to thank the dividuals and businesses of the community that have assisted m making the waiiafcle The group hosted a Christmas party for the Desert Fnends kids at which games were played refreshments were served and pictures were taken while visaing with Santa It was very successful balding holiday cheer to over 50 youngsters A Christmas party was held a few weeks later for die older youth They made cookies to played basketball liver fa die extended care residents and enjoyed delicious food drinks and desserts The holiday spirit was there in abundance thanks fa the giving spirit of the kids and the generosity of those in the community who support them Over 30 really great adolescents each received a really great Christmas gift because of many really great caring people A fond raiser during the season helped them make extra money for buy mg gifts for their loved ones We’d like to take this opportunity to publicly thank those people and
