50 most of the way across country Murphy said the bicyclists will have traveled through 13 states when they finish The southern route also started at the Golden Gate Bridge and will end up in Washington DC Southern bicyclists however split with the northern route at Fallon Nevada Southern riders will take a variety of highways to get to Washington Since this is the tenth anniversary a special anniversary route has been set up this year This route runs from Florence the first Virginia Oregon to Yorktown route ever taken for the Journey of Hope will then join members of the Participants other two routes in Washington DC Aug 15 on the steps of the US Capitol Building Ken Lebbon of Delta rode with the Jour- ney of Hope Friday from Baker Nevada to Delta He arranged
