111213 and 13 in the Millard High School auditorium This comedy is set in an boarding school which is about to lose its 99 year lease Follow the action as Holly Lassiter and her boyfriend Illinois November 8 voter awareness was held for the seniors at Millard High School County officials were present to talk with the seniors about being responsible citizens Each of the participants told about their certain area of responsibility in the government system Speakers included Sheriff Ed Phillips commissioners Tony Dear den and Lana Moon State Leonard Blackham Representative Fillmore City Recorder Marlene Cummings Fillmore City Councilman Eric Larsen and MHS Government Teacher Dennis Alldredge The program was under the direction of Connie Bennett ' T i Autumn Robinson On Monday November 8 the seniors of MHS has the opportunity to visit with the various college representatives as they came to Millard High School for the annual College Day During the afternoon seniors were able to learn more about the programs and activities offered from the numerous colleges and specialized schools in the state This program is sponsored by the counseling department at our school which welcome Remedios Bania aboard our staff Mrs Bania works with our English as a Second Language students Mrs Bania is a native of the Philippines She has four brothers and eight sisters She attended Chinese Republican Elementary and graduated from Westminster High School She has a teaching certificate and has taught school in the Philippines and United States Her husband Lou Bania is a native of B uffalo Ne w York They were introduced by a mutual friend in California They have one daughter Desiree Bania Since her arrival in the Delta area Mrs Bania has worked at Delta Middle School as a substitute teacher This year she is employed at Delta North Della South and Delta Middle Schools in the ESL program Mrs Bania’s hobbies include: gardening sewing cooking and quilting From her own elementary experiences Mrs Bania recalls morning sessions of school from 7:00-- 1:00 am in English Afternoon session were taught in Chinese and held from pm daily Everyone in school wore uniforms Mrs Bania has a wealth of life experiences far different from many of us at Della North Elementary She is fun to visit with We wish her well in her work at our school Shirlene The West Millard Mosquito Abatement District is proposing to set a property tax levy which will generate $242500 in property tax revenue The West Millard Mosquito Abatement District is proposing a total budget of $247000 Student of the month Wright Wright saluted Autumn Robinson came in with the best attendance and class participation this past month to earn her the honor of West Centra Valley School Student of the Month for October Autumn received an engraved plaque and a WCVS Wolves Autumn has been attending West Central Valley for three years Her vorite class is art where she likes to use her creativity in completing different projects She is fun interacts well with the other students and keeps them all laughing She says she likes the one on one teacher to student teaching at WCVS and feels it has been helpful to her as well as the other students A resident of Fillmore she is married to Paul Robinson whose employment takes him out of town on a regular basis While Paul is away Autumn has been staying with Lauralec and Mikayle Colledge and enjoys them very much Since long distance relationships are difficult Autumn will soon be moving out of Utah to join her husband in Nevada where she will continue her educational pursuits She is especially interested in cosmetology as well as starting her family within the next several years Autumn has been a great asset to the school and will be missed greatly by all at WCVS Delta North Elementary is happy to welcome Shirlene Wright aboard our kitchen crew Shirlene began substitutlast year and was hired ing during the summer as a vacancy was created in our kitchen We are delighted to have Shirlene as a staff member Her cheery personality and friendly demeanor contribute a lot to the spirit of DNES Shirlene is a Juab County native She grew up in Mona attending Mona Elementary and graduating from Juab High School Besides Mona she has lived in Provo and Delta She has one brother and one sister Shirlene is married to Richard Wright a native of Provo The couple met at a BYU summer music clinic They were in the same band playing tenor saxophones!
