relating to page 16 The Proclamation states simply: “The S tans bury and Ttntic deer units are open for general season deer hunting for 3 days only October 19 20 and 21" According to Vic Layton manager of the Clear Lake Waterfowl Management Area the proclamation is so vague that some hunters may be confused as to the area set aside as well as the time frame in Salt Lake really “Somebody screwed up" stated Layton “They forgot to put in the legal descriptions of these areas and I’m concerned that some hunters may get caught hunting on the fourth or fifth day when the hunt is only for three days in these areas” continued Layton “Any hunter can get a highway road map and follow the legal description to determine the area" concluded Layton The legal descriptions for the areas are as follows: Current boundary description for Deer Herd Unit 14 (Tintic) 3 day hunt scheduled for October 1920 21 1991: Juab Tooele Utah and Millard Counties Boundary begins at then southerly along than 200 goals for the Slate of Utah to be accomplished within the next 20 years These goals are the basis for the town meetings and the Legislature is asking for piublic’s help to prioritize and narrow down the ambitious list of goals "Achieving all the Benchmarks at once may not be practical that's why we need the pxiblic to help us prioritize these goals and decide where the Legislature puts their focus and the tax player’s money" stated Senator Craig A PeThe final set of goals tersen if formally adopted by the Legislature and Governor Bargerter next January will be affecting all of us You can obtain a copy of the proposed 1991 Benchmarks by calling the Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel at The town meeting will begin at 7:30 pm |
