and Alice Babbitt Thelma Oldfield has returned from a trip to Otis Orchards WA (suburb of Spokane) with her children Richard who came out from Freehold New Jersey and VA and Roger Ashby from Ely NV Thelma and Richard drove to Dy where Virginia and Roger joined them for the drive to Twin Falls ID where the group spent the first night They traveled all the next day arriving at their destination at 7 p m They enjoyed the weekend sightseeing and visiting starting home on Monday morning Sept 23 stay ing at Pocatello ID one n ight R went cm to Ely to spend some time helping Roger build a shop and visiting with Virginia and family Recently Vic and Lillian Rogers went up north for the purpose of another family gathering at the home of their son Bishop John S Rogers and family of West Jordan This time the reunion was complete for all five children and 6 of their grandchildren were together Craig had come from California for his class reunion in Sandy The celebration was made more special since it was Marilee Smith’s 20th granddaughter Another significant event birthday occurred when all attended the ordination of Michael Rogers to the office of an Elder On the following Mon and Tues Craig and his family came to visit Vic and Lillian to help do many chores in and around the house Craig is an electrician for the City of Riverside CA Last Friday Vic and Lillian drove to St George fora
