has been at the hospital all the time Reports are that he is finally showing some improvement Don and Deneen Tenney and daughter Dorothy were here with Marilyn Tenney and Loretta They were on their way from Orlando Fla to Idaho Falls Don has been stationed in Florida for a year and a half with the Navy He will be attending Nuclear Power School in Idaho Falls Marilyn and Loretta Tenney go to Salt Lake every Saturday where Loretta plays with the Utah Youth Symphony Last Saturday they attended a Youth Concert at the Tabernacle Mike and LaPriel Mortenscn were pleased to have Dee and Florence spend a week with them The Smiths live in Modesto CA Lola Stoneking spent a few days up north for Dr appointments While she was there A1 ami Helen Sutton took her to the State Fair She also attended the opening of the OC Tanner building Some of A1 and Helen’s family work there We have a few new arrivals to make note of: Sid and Jennifer (Sabey) Tolbert became parents of a baby girl bom on Sept 16 her sister Phyllis Mink from Council Idaho spent three weeks in Cardston Alberta Canada with their parents Mrs Cyril Nelson Their father who will be 92 in November was in the hospital so they helped them make arrangements and get settled in a retirement home in Magrath The Nelsons lived in Hinckley years ago Fem’s brother Floyd Nelson lives in Ukiah CA Karen Crosby and twochildren came from Draper to spend a few days with her folks Garth and Beth Tolbert Tracy and Ruby Fullmer and son Butch spent last weekend with Lucna Fullmer Jim and Maxene Owens recently spent a day at Maple Grove Kirk and Kayla Owens went with them and Sandra Spencer and children came from Sterling to be with them The kids had a lot of fun Fishing Jim and Maxene Owens met Lenny and Janet Owens and four children in Provo where they had lunch at the Richard and Flora Mott from Cleveland Utah spent last weekend with the Sherrill Tolbert family They were here for the High School Rodeo Lawrence and Joan Abbott came on the weekend to stay overnight with Trula Abbott Joan's mother Jean Russell from Fillmore had been staying with them for a while so they took her home and stopped at Trula's on their way historical places Fay Howell has spent the past two weeks in Las Vegas NV visiting with her children Iris Anderson from Mt Pleasant spent a few days visiting her parents Irish and Phyllis Anderson Gary and Loene Dutson spent Sat in Provo visiting with friends and also attending the BYU football game Milden and Arprilla Scow went to Orem UT where they attended the Utah Valley Community College Rodeo on Sept 21 and 22 Their grandson Douglas Scow son of Darrel and Gaye Scow of Sandy was one of the contestants We also visited in Sandy with Darrel and Gaye Scow and family Deseret High Priest and partners met at the church Saturday evening for a get together Over thirty husbands and wives attended A recent three day guest at the home of June and Tom (Geon) Paxton of Kanosh was Giscla
