Hairstyling in Spanish Fork Reggie graduated from Delta High School He was studentbody president and active in sports Before serving a mission in the Italy Rome Mission he attended SUSC in Cedar City UT Upon his return he attended UVCC in Orem and BYU in Provo He is currently employed with Word Perfect in Orem UT Corporation The newlyweds plans to make their home in Spanish Fork UT Stake Youth Kansas City Missouri and baptized in San Angelo Texas Dec 15 1972 He was ordained to be an Elder July 27 1978 Bro Thomas and his wife Claudia were the first black couple to be married in the Salt Lake Temple June 15 1979 They are the parents of 5 children Bro Thomas received his education from Brigham Young University where he received a Masters of Education and LeAnn T2a Masters of Social Work While at BYU he was a member of the ‘‘Young Ambassadors” He has performed in various shows and represented BYU as one of the ‘‘All American College Performers” at Disneyland in 1978 Bro Thomas is presently working for Human Affairs International of SLC as Director of their AIDS Assistance Program and Intermountain Sexual Abuse Treatment Center working with sexual abuse and incest victims Bro R ' News This past week we have received a new magazine It is “Sports Illustrated for Kids” There is an article about an skateboard champ a Karate hotshot a round up of girl who sports news a pitches supersonic fastballs sneaky changeups and tricky sinkers and an article on rookie Jim Abbott the pitcher Plus a lot of other interesting things to read Did you happen to read the teresting article in Sunday’s paper about the author Tony Hillerman? We have several of his books in the library He writes mystery novels that involve the Navajo tribal police They have recently been in great demand They may be just what you are yearning for! Our summer story hour began last Wednesday We had a great turn out and had a lot of fun We will again have story hour on every Wednesday at 10:00 am until August 16 If you missed last week and still want to come don’t hesitate It won’t matter if you miss because we will be doing new things every week Come and look for treasure of books at the library Our lost and found department is growing and we don’t have anywhere to put these things If there is a slight chance that you have left behind some treasure of irreplaceable value at the library come and take a look We even have a rib brace that commencement former Delta resident Robert Hardy received a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy Robert graduated from Delta High School in 1980 After two years of study at BYU Robert continued his education at the U of U During his final year Robert represented the College of Pharmacy as a student senator Robert graduated with honors cum laude and is a member of Rho Chi a pharmacy honor society Robert with his wife Melanie and newborn daughter Rachael currently live in Sandy Utah He is employed as a staff pharmacist at LDS Hospital Robert is the son of Mr and Mrs L Clark Hardy of Delta in School Bills LeAnn Adams to wed Todd Bills Navy Seaman Recruit Donald Tenney son of Von L and Marilyn I Tenney and a 1984 graduate of Delta High School of Delta UT has completed recruit training at Recruit TrainFL Orlando ing Command training During Tenney’s cycle he studied general military subjects designed to prepare him for further academic and training in one of the Navy’s 85 basic fields Tenney’s studies included seamanship close order drill Naval history and first aid Personnel who complete this course of instruction are eligible for three hours of college credit in Physical Education and Hygiene He joined the Navy in February 1989 Stoker to marry Finlinson Peterson called to serve mission mid-ea- st Mindy Moody returned this week from a tour of Jordan Egypt and Israel as a member of Brigham Young University’s select “University Singers” The 40 member group representing BYU toured the three countries presenting over fifteen concerts including one at the American University at Cairo and at the Henry Crown Auditorium in Jerusalem as participants in the Jerusalem Choral Festival A highlight of their tour was a special reception and audience given to them by Queen Noor ol Jordan 1 he group enjoyed many wonderful experiences including a camel trip in Fgypt Mindy reports the experience was wonderful the opportunity of a lifetime Mindy is the daughter of Joe and Glena She is presently Moody finishing her degree in Music Education at BYU and plans to teach Choral Music on a high school level following her graduation this winter 5 BABIFS Justin Peterson has
