Shane has lost the state championship title to Delta wrestlers In 1987 Dan Chamberlain beat Shane for the title and last year Ricky Porter beat him In Saturdays match Shane got the First take down on starting to get short for the body slams the referees claimed George did were illegal were later proven to be legal when replayed on the video George’s knees had hit the mat before Shane did on each of the penalized moves If there was one more technical called against George George would be disqualified and the match would go to Shane Shane again got up after a brief spell and the wrestlThe crowd was really ing continued getting into the match by then Shane is noted for having a short fuse and you could tell by his expressions that Shane was mad for he knew that George was getting the best of him George and Shane again continued to wtcsiIc when Shane’s short fuse exploded He tried seriously to hurt George by pushing George into the scorers table At this moment the match was called and both Coach wrestlers were disqualified Holman grabbed George and the Manti Coach grabbed Shane and each coach took his wrestler out into the hall to calm each one down Sean Thomas at 160 lbs went onto the mat next for Delta to wrestle Millet the home town favorite from North Sanpete You could tell Sean was very emotional because of what had just happened to his team mate George In the first move of
