Show Page 8 - Millard County SANDS APRTMENTS Mary Bassett Welcome to new residents including Mrs Jack Eldon Exerhusion Pratt and Mrs Marcella Ross spent much of last weekend in Logan at a family reunion of my parent’s family Their children Samuel Nlrs DELTA Eddys Barben Ph: Jay and Jerry Bunker were pieascu to have Mrs Becky Kelly and children Chris Arica and Brian from Tempe AZ visit them in August Then Mrs Michael Bunker and Jimmy from Roswell NM came Michael did some handywork for them They all went to IPP Jay and Julean Cottle from Idaho and Bonnie Nielson from California also came by for a nice visit They all also visited with Raema and Shirley while in Delta The Kelly family stayed for 3 weeks with Raema and Shirley Jay and Jerry Bunker just returned home from a short trip to Reno NV Courtto help Jerry’s granddaughter ney celebrate her 16th birthday Mrs Melva Shields met her daughter Mrs Ann and John Framp-toand 4 daughters in Salt Lake City last week They all traveled by motorhome to Broomfield CO (near Denver) They spent 5 days with the Zachary Frampton family (a son of the Framptons) and attended graduation for Zachary Thurs L'SPS from Mechanic schooling Bob and Joyce Ashby of Delta also joined the group in Broomfield They are the parents of Karen (Ashby) Frampton wife of Zachary They attended church and visited in Roosevelt and Vernal and Dinosaur land on their trip home Mrs Oliver Ferry of LaVerkin UT visited in Delta Tuesday with Mrs Goldie Miller The Ferrys were once Delta residents Mrs Genevieve Richardson of Garrison UT spent Wednesday in Delta with Arch and Eddys Barben Sept 8t 1988 Kay McMurdie and his wife Lousia Bishop We met at my brother Evan and wife Geneva’s home in Logan Canyon Kay Bassett spent a day visiting his mother last week Visiting Vivian Holman this Tues and Wed were Barbara Holman of Tooele friends Mrs (Carl) Pet Smith of Arlington Heights IL and her son CO Bob Smith of LaJunta Fontella Crafts attended the Provo Temple with friends Thursday There her son Joe Bishop and wife Carolyn grandsons Robert L and Garrey Scott met her for lunch and visiting after attending 3 sessions in the temple Garrey Scott Bishop just returned from He is now Rome Italy Mission teaching Italian at the MIC in Provo Fontella also visited with Laverna Dally Correy former waitress in Delta Lola Young had two young girls visit Eleanor Murray and her recently Marilyn Blanche brought flowers smiling faces and lively chatter Charlie Craft said at my age am happy to be alive Aren’t we all? KANOSH Dathel Whitaker Ph Thelma Oldfield is proud of her grandson Elder Steven Stuart Suggs of Price Utah who is the son of Don Suggs and Dorothy Burt Mathis He received his mission call to serve in special occasion was Grandma Grandma Velva Eunice Whetten Williams Ruth (Granger’s wife) and children Jodi (twin sister Judy was ill and not able to come) Rick Loren and Susan (Larry’s wife) and Ezra and Iris were guests of Leora in Richfield On Friday Willard Whitaker and Janet Barton joined the daughter group Then Dathel accompanied them to the Manti Temple where they went through a session with granddaughter Sherri Whitaker to receive her enSherri and her fiancee dowments Clark Crook will be married in the Manti Temple on Sat Sept 10 Karen Crook was hostess to a bridal shower at her home on Sept 3 in honor Sherri Whitaker of Snow College Clark Christensen his wife Teresa and children of Pleasant Grove were Verl recent guests of his mother Christensen They visited his brother Paul
