Probably those teachers who are dedicated care about the students and teach them something Some teachers who fit into this category are the special education teachers in high school and although their pay may be equal to the pay of other teachers they get an added benefit in many grateful parents and students For a student who is frustrated in school and through no fault of his own simply cannot understand the regular high school curriculum a special education teacher can be the key to keeping that student in school and learning Mrs Yvonne Hall is one of those special teachers teaching in the special in education Delta High program School She moved to Delta a few years ago and although she hasn’t been here long says she likes it She and her husband Gary are the parents of three children Patty Andrew and Matthew Mrs Hall was born in Lewiston Utah to Norval and Ethel Smith and she has three sisters and one brother Mrs Hall graduated from North Cache High School in Richmond Utah and then attended U S U S U S C and the University of Utah She received her degree in Special Education Endorsement She is teaching High School Resource this year and has taught special education classes in the high school and has been an aid in special education classes in the Delta Middle School In her free time Mrs Hall enjoys hiking golfing and most outdoor activities The Delta High School Council for a Better School wishes Mrs Hall continued success in her teaching and we hope she will be in Delta for a long time ISPS Counly by Maren Bailey MHS receives computer Mr Lon Dearden Santa Rosa CA recently donated a computer to Millard High School Model The with two disk Computer drives and a monitor is a welcome addition to our computer program Mr Dearden a 1976 graduate of received his Millard High School Masters Degree in Electrical Engineer ing from Brigham Young University He is now employed by Corporation Millard High School wishes to and exdonation this acknowledge presses appreciation to Mr Dearden for his interest in helping students further their knowledge of computet applications FARIS STEVENS' 2nd grade class celebrates with a comfortable setting for a Chip R Munk's birth- day Students Celebrate as Chip R Munk Reappears on His Day Delta North Elementary In The News W'here does aii the time go? teachers with their school programs Mrs Taylor plays the piano for third grade teacher Delna Bliss and fourth grade teacher Terry Finlinson Mis Taylor drives in from her home in Hinckley twice weekly to perform this much needed service Mrs Turner spends about thiee hours in the first grade classes of Virginia Pelaez and Zoe Fowles on Wednesday mornings She reads with the students and assists them reappearance at Fillmore Elementary last Tuesday January 13 as students gathered to celebrate his birthday The big chipmunk had been missing since Halloween when he mysteriously disappeaied Students had been reading since that time and filling out acoins to make a giant acorn trail in hopes that it would bring the FES reading mascot out of hiding Their efforts finally paid off when the loveable
