Show FLOWELL SENIOR Virgic Ivie CITIZEN NEWS Ph Bessie It is lonely without our neighbors Jay and Susie Robison and children Jarvis Jerek and Mind who have from our community They left here early the morning of July 25 to make their home in Silverton OR where Jay is employed Good luck and best wishes to this fine family We miss you but surely wish you well Norma Jackson has been a patient at the Fillmore Hospital for a month She was seriously ill but is much improved and will soon be released to be back in her home Her children have been attentive to her and will continue to care for her Among the many of her family who have come to visit is her Alicia Bundy who is granddaughter employed at Dugway and visits grandma often Mrs Don Tomkinson and Rodney traveled to Cedar City July 21 to spent the night with their daughter and Jan I aurel and Douglas Wilson and little son Michael The next morning early they went to Hurricane where they were guests or their daughter and Connie and Craig Stratton and children Colby and Cassadee taught an art class in oil painting that day The Tomkinsons came on home the same day Vera Carpenter and her daughter Clara Posey and daughter Christine from CA visited with Veia's daughter and Norma and Ted Jackson and Stacey Clara and Christine visited in Cedar City with her husband Steve's parents The Poseys returned to CA enjoying visiting her sister Norma and family Vera stayed for a longer visit Ted and Norma took her to Reno July 26 where they were met by data and Steve Posey who look mother Vera to their CA home Vera makes her home with the Poseys Ted and Norma enjoyed the beautiful scenery around Reno then traveled home the next day The people in tilts community will be interested to hear some news of Wayne and Chanted Durbidge and children Erica and Detek former lowed resident They are living in Salt ake City On July 7 they they added a new little member to their family a little 7 lbs 2 9 baby girl They keep in touch with Ulala Mace They lived in her trailer home while they were mg here They report they really miss this little ward and the friendliness of the people Wayne has a good job and they are building a new home in the Salt ake area Enjoying a vacation with their aunt and uncle llena and Don Tomkinson and cousin Rodney are Caprice and ena May I vans of Salt Lake City The girls are taking ait lessons from aunt llena Last summer they were here for art lessons Ruth Allen has had a house full of company the past week Her son Carl theii Allen and his wife Caroline Jane Allen and Roberta daughters Autry and the latter’s husband Terry and their children Jeremy and Nickolas Carl and family live in CA the Autry’s in Sacramento They arrived July 26 Ounce Hurd and Michael and Connie and children Clarice’s grandsons Stiiker and Beau Hurd came from their home in Orem to visit her brother Call and family 1 he latter also visited his brothers Rex and ynn and family and Dean and Shiiley and their daughter Mis Ace wedding breakfast after the marriage in the Manti Temple Kaye Stevens and three children are spending a month visiting her and Orvin and Kathleen Stevens Mont and the other children will be up a little later for a HOLDEN Cherryl Wood Fh Webb Monday evening August at 6:30 all meet at the ME Bird Center to show our thanks and gratitude to Nelle Sorensen and Norma Skcem We have enjoyed working with them and want to convey our thanks for all they have done for us This will be a pot luck supper and a very good program Ham will be furnished for the dinner so bring your favorite pot luck dish and come have a fun evening with your friends Also bring your own dishes On Aug 15 Floyd Bradfield has made arrangements for us to go by bus to Stockton Utah and then on to and Oker These are two old mining towns and there will be someone there to give us some of the interesting I'm' sure we history of this country would all enjoy this trip very much We will leave the center at 8 am Please get your names on the list if you would like to go on this adventure trip We will take our own picnic lunch as there are no facilities for eating there Our summer is going fast and there won’t be many more trips this year so be sure to go whenever you can The Millard County Fair is nearly here We hope all of you will take advantage of the enjoyable things at the Deseret Fairgrounds Please let us know if you have some free hours to spend at volunteer help at the center When you get involved you'll wonder why you waited so long Be sure to underline on your Aug calendar for the pot luck supper and party See you there we will (Vicky) Butler and daughters Christie Melissa and Staci On July 28 the family enjoyed a dutch oven dinner which was delicious!
