a short visit she and her Ruth Allen who had been visiting her daughter Clarice and family since March 18 Together they went to Salt Lake City where Shirley kept an appointment They were guests of Shirley’s mother Lois Geddes On the three ladies attended a Saturday session at the Salt Lake LDS Temple This was a large session including quite a number of relatives and friends in attendance with Delinda Fuller daughter of Anthony and Diana Fuller They were guests for lunch after the Temple session Shirley and Ruth left for Genola Saturday afternoon where they visited with Shirley’s son Danny and his wife LaVon and five children This was a special birthday Shirley and Ruth were overnight guest of Danny and family They arrived back in Flowell Sunday morning by 8:30 am It was a busy and exciting weekend Lucinda Fuller a student at USU is home with her family the Anthony Fullers during spring break Mrs John (Jolene) Sevey and children of Kearns called to visit her parents Ralph and Leah Robinson They were on their way to St George on business taking baby Alex with them and leaving the other children to enjoy lots of fun at Grandpa and Grandmas The children loved playing with cousins Scott Susie and Sally Robinson and loving great grandma Freda Christensen The children of the late Samuel and Rozetta Utley all former Flowell residents get together in Salt Lake City each month and go to a restaurant for dinner and visiting Clem and Lora Utley went to the city March 20 They joined his brothers and sisters and their spouses for dinner at the Golden Corral Restaurant They are Floyd and Faun Utley Armond and Delilah Ogden Aris and Orleen Christensen Elwood and Libby Lambert All are from the Salt Lake area Their brother Reed Utley is in poor health so he and his wife Darlene Brower Utley were unable to join the group Clem and Lora had a nice long visit with Reed and Darlene Reed is making the best of his situation and is in good spirits It is just not possible to think of Reed without seeing that beautiful smile Darlene is a super nurse right on hand to give him excellent care She also is a former resident of this community Best wishes from your Bf Cmtn -- National Library Survey The Utah State Library Annual Report form was altered this year to accomodate a national project to coordinate the collection of statistics on The public library service nationally for Educational National Center Statistics has asked the American Association’s office for Library Research and selected state libraries to test a system using each state library’s data gathering as a way to collect national data The Utah State Library is pleased to be participating in this project City libraries are asked to use 1984 to June 30 1986 fiscal year July as the basis of their report Fillmore City library report indicated a continuing upward trend in services and use The estimated population served included all towns in East in Millard 576 families serving Fillmore and 234 families outside the boundaries of the city No individual cards are issued The report also shows ownership of 12422 books (not counting 1000 unprocessed books in work room) and an her husband John Smithson live in Flagstaff Some years ago LaDawn worked in Aunt Ida’s dance studio as an instructor She brought a group of girls to Utah where they performed acrobatics at LaDawn’s
