Fillmore City Council passed a motion to rename the library It will be named the President Millard in Fillmore honor of Library President Fillmore who was president of the United States when Utah was made a territory and when this city was named Fillmore and the County named Millard 1852 Library Board members are doing research about President Fillmore and are learning a lot of interesting things including the fact that he was the President to set aside a room in the White House and purchase the first 900 volumes mainly law and fine literature Architect Dell S Ashworth of Provo has been retained to design the remodeling and is going right to work on the project We have seen preliminary sketches already Story Hour Video furnished the tapes and machine for the children to enjoy during
