1982 Environmental Health County Specialist Jed Tinlinson said that out of 100 possible points to be achieved on the inspections the four Millard County restaurants averaged 66 In the 1982 survey three Millard County restaurants averaged compared to a state average of 74 This year’s comparison to state averages will not be know until the survey is completed in a few months Mr f mlinson said Some of the items covered during the inspection are the construction of the building itself the equipment the personnel and food handling practices and overall sanitation both inside and outside These Deseret District gathered together at the Palomar to show the public some of the things that they do in their scouting units Cub Scout packs were the most prevalent m their colorful displays of various activities they have been involved m during the year as dens of the pack One scout troop from I eamington 149 treated all who attended to a display of pioneering skills using knots and lashings made from roots Several units proudly showed the Diamond Jubhee banner as this year in the United scouting is States of America Several activities are scheduled in the district to celebrate scoutings 75th birthday Lhc theme for this year is ‘‘Pride in the Past ootsteps to the Future’’ and we indeed are pioud of scoutings past and look forward to its future A special thanks to the boys Ivan (Ina) Nielson returned alter spending a week in Orem with their son Mrs Kerry Nielson Mrs Rebecca Pratt Dale Pratt and children Mrs Gary (Susan) Pratt and Annie Mrs Josh (Shelly) Pratt were all in Provo Sunday for the blessing of the baby daughter of Mrs Jim (Carolyn) Pratt She was blessed by father Jim Pratt and given the name of Carrie Beth Pratt Also there for this special day were Mrs Clyde Colleen Pratt and family and Carolyn’s mother and her sister and sister's little twin girls tiom Ohio Mrs Barabra Anderson Lllen and Patricia Suffern all went to Provo on May 3 to celebrate Barbara's birthday They met DeAnn Anderson there and spent the day shopping and at a track meet Mrs Marion Ray (RaNec) Anderson and family and Mrs David (Robin) and family recently all had a Begin special day together and went on a trip to an undisclosed destination Cloyd and Emma Talbot were pleased to be invited to meet with other RSYP members and go by bus to IPP tor the annual 6 county luncheon on May 8 They served a lovely dinner and we enjoyed a good program Mrs Norma Mattheson was the speaker The people at IPP really treated us like special people Thanks to Rex our county and all commissioners Bruce Anderson and Sharia Johnson were married in the Salt Lake Temple Thursday May 9 Those from this area who were there were Bruce’s brothers and wives Gordon & Jackie Ardean & Janet & at the Talbots Two babies were blessed in 2nd ward Sunday The baby girl of Kelly and Leslie Anderson was blessed by her father and given the name of Whitney Ann Family members there for the special occasion were grandparents Junius and ElDonna Anderson uncles and aunts Steve and Ellen Allred and family Garth and Leslie Lake and family and Robert and Lynn Jeffery and baby The family all gathered at the Anderson home for dinner and visiting after church The baby son of Kevin and Pam Chapman was blessed by his father Kevin and given the anme of Kendall Blair A large group of family members were here for the special time but didn't get their names Mrs Beth Brown from Hinckley was here for the Chapman baby’s blessing red and Jeananne Lybbert and baby are here staying with their folks Elo and Anderson went to Sandy last week to see their newest a sweet little girl Trista grandchild whose parents are Barry and C’herrie Anderson A group of ladies went to Delta last week to the special Na icy Fowles Mae (Reid) Barton arrived this week from Lake Tahoe to spend some time with Doyle and Billie Berry and other family members in the area When she road got to Abraham she hit out rough and rolled her car clear over when the car landed on it’s wheels it went in the ditch Mae was wearing her seat belt so fortunately she wasn’t seriously hurt The road is a real obstacle course from here on out I’m surprised there haven’t been more accidents Mark Loveless will marry Dell Dickson from Morgan Utah on June 8 An open house will be held at the Sutherland Church on June 14 Mark BYU and Dell is
