We need to stay confident, have composure, and a swagger about us, not but you have to have a stmt in your step, Stone said. If you don't have it the other team will walk all over you. We are a much better team now after these two games. Mott also said attitude makes a difference when it comes to winning. We need to increase our intensity and our fight to the death attitude, that attitude that youre going to get up there and fight and win, Mott said. We need to stop being complacent with where we are and know that we are the best team out there. The Swords went on a 14-- 2 run, getting out to an early 24-1- 5 lead nine minutes into the first half. Head Coach Jon Judkins said he does not know why Chaminade was able to get off to such a good start in the 65-7- 5. sive glass. During the game against Chaminade University, junior guard Adam Ross injured his knee. Ross went to the hospital Monday in St. George, but the results of the tests are not in. Freshman forward Dalton Groskreutz, a business major from Santa Clara, said if Ross cannot come back this season, it's is going to be third-place- first half and the beginning of the second. "I don't know what it is," Judkins said. "We tried doing different things, start different people. I don't know what it tough. "Losing Adam would be bad," Groskreutz said. "He really helps our team. He plays great defense and not having him would hurt." In the final game Dixie played in Hawaii this season, the University of Hawaii-Hil- o Vulcans played host to the Red Storm and blew them back to St. George with their third loss in a row, los88-9- 6. ing The Red Storm and the Vulcans played a game in which no one team dominated. The Vulcans held a 0 lead with four minutes remaining in the first half, but Dixie went on a 14-- 5 run to take a 44-4- 0 lead at the half. Junior forward Andy Palmer scored five points, and senior guard Ryan Sanchez scored four during the run. The Vulcans went on a 0 run with seven minutes remaining in regulation. Hawaii-Hil- o had a lead of six minutes with two points didSanchez but remaining, nt allow the game to end.
