BY JEROME JONES Dixie Sun Staff Writer Who loves boy bands like NSYNC, Backstreet Boys and Everclean? Wait, who is Everclean? Everclean is the newest sensation Mormon boy band that has a movie based on their struggles and success of making it big in the music business. The movie is called Sons of Provo and it is out now at movie theaters. The main three actors in the movie are Will Swenson (star of the Singles Ward"), Kirby Heyborne (star of The RM) and Danny Tarasevich. After Will and Danny are abandoned by a fellow boy band member, they search for someone who will fill the empty spot. Failure after failure eventually leads them to Kirby. Will is an aerobics instructor, Danny is a stu-- ' dent of eastern philosophy, and Kirby is a specialist. But all three will create fresh, cleanshaven music in the boy band they call Everclean. The band tries to keep their place in the tough music business while keeping their standards. The movie begins with Everclean hiring Grayson Jensen, Will and Dannys uncle, as their band manager. Evercleans first gig is at a kids birthday party and their second gig falls apart, so they fire him. Then, Will and Danny get so caught up in the pure greatness of their music they forget about their third wheel and leave Kirby behind. However, they are able to work together and things take off for Everclean with their Utah tour. The have boy band hit songs about church rights and wrongs and their fans increase at each spot in the tour. Kirby still wants more of a respectful part in the band by writing some of the songs. Finally, the two other members let Kirby perform his song and Everclean lives happy ever after. Some parts of the movie took place in St. George and there is a cameo appearance by Alan Osmond from the music group the Osmonds.
