The Russian Tchaikovsky Ballet Theatre is one of Russia's most celebrated artistic companies. Their many years of disciplined experience guarantees that "Giselle" is performed with excellence and passion. This company of 135 performers features a full orchestra, lavish costumes and scenery. For ticket information call Gail Bunker at BRAIN RESEARCH LECTURE AT THE COX SCHEDULED The Douglas and Elaine Alder Faculty Honors Lecture will be held on Wednesday, October 25 at 7 pm. in the Cox Auditorium. Dr. Curt Walker will be presenting his research on the brain. The program is titled, "Brain Research: The Truth About Teaching and Learning." This is a topic that should be of interest to everyone. Teachers, students and the general public are invited. DSC GALLERY INTRODUCES A NEW EXHIBITION The Utah Traveling Art Exhibition, "Recent Works," continues this week at Dixie State College with renowned artists Cyrus Mejia and L. Diehl Williams. Mejia's works include paintings in large scale oils with a combination of image concept, landscape enviand ronment symbolic A SfSC metaphor. DSC DENTAL HYGIENE PROGRAM REPORTS PROGRESS The program director for the Dixie State College Dental Hygiene program reported significant progress this week on its accreditation status through the American Dental Association. "It is with great pleasure that Dixie State College informs our community of the progress the Dental Hygiene Program has made this year," said Dr. Gordon Jennings, director. "We are grateful for the support and encouragement we receive from the St. George area. Having the opportunity to provide services for the community in our clinic and being able to add dental hygienists to the area are our two highest goals." The Dental Hygiene Program is in the process of completing its Final Accreditation Status. Small children plan their whole lives just to be a part of the frenzy of that stupendous seven days in October. The elderly reminisce to their grandchildren about the special moments they shared during the festivities. But why is it so exciting?
