This was an interesting weekend to say the very least. The guys just werent there mentally, they didnt show up to play Idaho State like we should have, said the teams head coach Kimball Leavitt. The Rebels took the loss to Idaho State On Saturday after a two 4-- hour delay and fighting against 40 mile an hour winds the Rebels took on the Vikings of Ricks College. The boys looked a lot better during this game, but still werent playing up to their potential, said Leavitt Tyler Henderson, the teams outside scored the first goal on a comer kick, and Tyler Johnson and Mason Cottam each added one for the Rebels. Despite the Rebels efforts, the Vikings took the win Dixie takes on the Community College of Southern Nevada this Saturday at the Encampment Mall at 10:00 a.m.. This games scheduled time has been changed from 12:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for all of you who have a schedule, so make your aware of mid-field- 4-- that. The Rebels were led by their ace Noah Backman. Also playing well for Dixie was freshman Jared Munk and sophomore Paul Winterrode. The way match play tournament works is that each team sends out six players. The players are then matched up against an opposing player. Players can get one point for defeating their a opponent on any of the following: the front nine holes, the Football, from page golf team for back nine holes, or the total round. The players are also paired with a teammate. Their cumulative scores also earn points for the same scoring criteria. The Rebels defeated the 2 Wolverines over the two day tournament, which was held at the Sunbrook and Entrada golf courses.
