This movie shows a very credible take on the governments hold over technology today and how it could affect anyone. Gene Hackman and Will Smith left the audience with a Smith brilliant performance. portrays Attorney Robert Dean whose life is destroyed by a chance encounter with an old friend. Dean's only hope to obtain his life and prove his innocence is through a man he's never met. A mysterious underground broker and operative know only as Brill (Gene Hackman). Brill is definitely the best character in this film. His underground secretive ways, to the extent of fanatical, leave him with a lonely secluded life. Hackman's power in acting created a fantastic character whose "matter of fact" ways left Dean with hope. The dialogue was excellent! There were no one liners and no one overpowered anyone's part in the film.
