H South is the Right Direction To Get There Go East By Billy Ray Vosburg billyrayinfowest. com Authentic Don Jose's Mexican Restaurant should be high on anyone's dining list. On Monday, I went to eat dinner and decided on a whim that Raelynne Loudon and myself would eat at this establishment. Upon arriving at the little restaurant located at 435 North 1680 East (in the East Ridge Mall), our waitress, Allison, sat us in a key location under an elaborate wall painting. After close observation of the diner, Loudon and I noticed tire painting was done directly onto the wall. It was with such careful detail that made a Mexican street seem so On a distant wall, we noticed the many different Mexican artifacts that surrounded the dining area. When it was time for us to order our food, Allison, with a constant smile on her face, came and happily took our order. life-lik- e. The taco salad Loudon ate was "really good." I, however, had a bean and cheese burrito with melted cheese on top of it. It was delicious. I could compare the taste to La Frontera in Salt Lake City, but that still wouldn't be doing the burrito justice. Allison told us the food took hours to prepare. The refried beans were done at least 24 hours in advance, just to capture the taste correctly. Also, the meats were individual- sealed into plastic sandwich bags, and seasoned. The seasoning had to soak into the meat for 24 hours, too. Price-wis- e, this restaurant wasn't bad at all. The most expensive thing on the menu was $7.95, and that is for a specialty dinner. This restaurant is worth the money, and worth the drive to the East Ridge Mall for the food. On the infamous scale of one to 10, 1 give this restaurant a nine. ly Classifieds. . . Need $$$$$ ???
