The most popular seemed to be the Karaoke booth The entrance fee was two dollars, v hich included admittance to the dance Tickets were sold for 25 cents apiece or five tickets for a dollar The biggest door prize was a CD Player and the smallest was a home video The dance began at Two to three hundred students attended the first Winter Carnival at Dixie College Friday, Jan 26. The carnival was held in an effort to help the clubs earn money they may have needed as well as give students the chance to have fun. It was successful in raising money and giving the students a chance to play and socialize in a different atmosphere. "Mm festive, and fun too, ticket taker Lynzi Kidman said. "I'd say it was a total success." Each of the clubs were required to p.m. and lasted until midnight "We hope to hold more events this," Donna Stafford, Director ot Student Activities, said. 10 like LDSSA hosts "Ugly Man" contest By KIM ISOM aged to vote for their favorite "ugly man" between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The com of voting is dependent upon the individual and pocket change is gracioush accepted. Proceeds will be given to the March of Dimes. The LDSSA will also be sponsoring a service project for the March of Dimes Saturday, Feb. 3 at 8.30 a m. at the LDS Institute of Religion.
