By DAVID WEST THE DIXIE SUN The Lady Rebels lashed the Chukars of Treasure Valley, and eked out a victory against College of Southern Idaho in Scenic West Athletic Conference play over the weekend. The Rebs started Friday's game with eight unanswered points, and continued to dominate throughout the game. Freshman guard Courtney Harlan scored in the last seconds of the first half to bring the score to Dixie extended its lead to 29 points at one point, and finished to win Although Dixie led throughout the game, Coach Dave La Vetter said his team was "complacent" in its approach. "We didn't play at our level," he said. Defensively, the Lady Rebels have a new strategy. The Chukars could not effectively deal with the constant used by Dixie. "We are trying some different things," La Vetter said, "and seeing what works and what doesn't." Starting forward Jessica Cooper led the team in scoring with 16 points.
