Could it be that whoever wrote the letter to the editor is a 'local"? As we've seen, both locals have lost. Twice. And, could this third election be due to the fact that certain Deans of this college are being harassed by members of the community that there are no locals in the final elections. Let's face it. All of us. The two candidates who were elected the first two times ARE the choice of the students, and presumably the best candidates. (According to student opinion.) If a local two parties needed all the help they could get. They still lost. (Not to throw any accusations around, of course.) This point exactly what was happening." rules. I feel that if any person finds a need to protest to the Executive Counsel I am writing this letter to talk about a matter with the elections. There is one topic that I want to talk about in particular, and that is the issue about Ballot Stuffing. I am aware of a problem that I feel should be made public. There is one person that I know of that personally stuffed more than one vote of his own, then turned around and complained to the Executive Counsel about Ballot Stuffing. I don't know about you, but I feel that this is a little bit hypocritical. This person who is in question is not a candidate, but is very involved with the campaigning of one of the Primary winners (from the first Primary Elections). I have also heard that this person is running for and Executive Counsel position. I would feel very scared if this person ever made it on the counsel, because there would 1990 George knows? Certainly not the sure he or she knows what is running weren't accurately happening. Especially in a selected by Dixie College situation as crucial as students. makes it to the finals this elections. It seems that this person is about an issue, more than likely this person has been . involved in the same issue. I don't know about you, but I feel that a person like this should be kept under control by being kept out of a leadership position as well as other measures. I want you to know sIbo that I am not a candidate I h ave no direct connection with any of the parties. I just feel that the students should be aware that there are people like this on ad campus and that they are trying their best to get in control of some leadership position. Personally I don't want a hypocrite as one of my leaders, and I hope you don't either. Thanks Again, A Concerned Student |
