NOVEMBER 8, 1988 IS ELECTION DAY in order for you to express your opinions at the ballot box, you must be registered to vote. I have listed below the simple ways of registering to vote in Utah. However, I am very proud of Utahs tradition of being among the nations leaders in voter turnout each election year. I hope we can continue that tradition. Val Oveson Lieutenant Governor HOW TO REGISTER TO VOTE If you will be 18 or older and will have been a resident of the State of Utah for 30 days preceding the election on November 8, 1988, you may register to vote by one of the following methods. You may registerwith the registration agent of your election and 9:00 p.m. on November 1, 2, and 3. You may register at the County hours until October 18. district between 8:00 a.m. Clerks office in your county during regular working You may register by mail at any time before October 18 by mailing in the Utah Election registration form. These forms may be obtained at any bank, post office, library, county clerks office, or political party office. |
