Show April 26, 1985 DIXIE SUN Page D-Cen- ter 1 The excavation for the new Dixie Center is Moving ahead on schedule, according to the General Superintendent of the project, John VanStaveren, of Bonneville General Contractors Inc., of Salt Lake City. The work began about a week ago, with the excavation and contract time limited to 60 days. ?. 5 update Bonneville is presently employing eight men on the excavation and according to Van Staveren, They are mostly St. George men. When completed, the hole carved out for the area will be 20 feet deep, while the one for the auditorium will taper from 18 ground level to a depth of feet toward the tennis courts. At 6:30 p.m. the banquet will be held in the LDS institute. The Last event of the day will be a Sun, Shade, n Rain concert at 8:30 p.m. at Dixie High School.
