"Mama" goes on rural tour The Dixie College Theatre production of I Remember Mama will tour several Utah communities through the auspices of the Utah Arts Council, the Utah Rural Arts Consortium, and the National Endowment for the Arts. .This tour will mark the third consecutive year of touring under this sponsorship by Dixie College Theatre. The. success of previous tours made Dixie College Theatre the number one candidate for touring funds this year, according to Lyn Waring,. Director of the Rural Arts Consortium, 1 Remember Mama will be presented in five.performances in ruraj communities including Bicknell, Roosevelt, Fillmore, and Nephi. The Dixie College Theatre production of I Remember Mama includes beautifully authentic costuming, a stage setting which allows fluid movement from one episode to another, and fine performances by. a very talented cast. The reception of the play by St. George audiences predicts success for the touring, company performances in early December. Tippetts exhibiting photography Dixie College currently has on exhibit over 50 photographic prints by noted Utah photographer, Twain Tippetts. The exhibit is open to the public at no charge and will remain on display through November and December. Mr. Tippetts work shows a deep sensitivity to the people and things great photographer.
