Show Page 4 - THE DIXIE SUN November 11, 1977 - David Webb comes from a large family of ten' children. He presently resides with his family in the little town of Leeds, where he serves as Scout Master for the local scout troop. Recently, David fulfilled a full time mission for the L.D S. church in California. David enjoys taking pictures and participating in sports. Last year he was a member of the Dixie College track team. He also enjoys hunting. A couple of weeks ago he returned from the deer hunt with a five point buck. Before going on his mission, David attended Dixie College and liked it so well he decided to return. he After graduating, plans to continue his education at BYU, majoring in chemistry or physics. When asked what hed like to do when he grows up, David replied, If I grow up. I'd like to discover what light is, so I can become rich and famous and retire. Wende grew up on a ranch southeast of Corning, Ca., north of Sacramento. She graduated from a school of about 600 students. Her class consisted of 130 graduates. Miss Leatherwood wanted to go to school in Hawaii, but because of the cost and the distance, she changed her mind, and tame to Dixie. She has one roommate and one dog to shaie her apartment, located on the Boulevard. Wende I live with commented: Stormy and Becky. Stormy is a Canadian coyote and Alaskan Husky. Wende once had a horse named Buttercalled which she nut, Butter." She often fed it breakfast. for pancakes Wende also has two younger sister and no brothers. In first grade, Wende was later then a Bluebird, became a Jr. Girl Scout. She enjoys snowskiing, water-skiinhiking, rappelling, and has taken up skydiving as a new and creative sport. She loves to jump out of airplanes and drive fast. (She has a lead foot.) Wende has had some experience in newspaper before and enjoys it. She adds a little life and entertainment to the newspaper and the class sessions. Were glad to have her on the staff. Mike has been an avid sports enthusiast all his life, having participated in many sports including basketball and track (both of which he lettered in at his native Union High School). When asked about his plans for the future, Mike Petei stated that he wasf on an L.D S. r somewhere in tht future.
