Show THE DIXIE SUN - Page 4 - November 23, 1970 Basketball Team Chosen Basketball season is now upon us. The Basketball team has been cut and chosen. Coach Doug Allred is exthe tremely pleased with Rebels this year. The team will be strong with five returning Letterman, and the new prospects are some of the finest that Dixie has ever had! Last year the Rebels won 15 and lost 11, this year we are hoping for a championship team. Returning Letterman this year are: Hal Hamblin, a returning regular, a Guard from Kanab, Utah. Ken Gubler - All Conference Forward at Dixie last year, from Hurricane, Utah. Brent Atkin - A Guard from St. George, Utah. Dale Bascom - Just returned off an LDS Mission, played at Dixie 3 yrs. ago, was a regular Guard. Greg Knight - Returning Letterman from Salt Lake City, Utah, a 67 Center.
