The Rebels will meet Boise Junior College in St George on May 19, to determine the ICAC Champion and a berth in the NJCAA finals held in Grand Junction, Colorado, the following week. The baseball games last Friday were played under adverse conditions weather and otherwise. Kent Garfield went five innings 5-- 3 6-- 5 and was relieved by Roy Pehrson who pitched the final two innings to receive credit for the win. In the second game Pehrson went the whole game to pick up his second victory of the day. Larry Jorgensen homered with one man on n the fourth inning. In competition with CSU this year the Tunderbirds have defeated the Rebels twice in ten contests, but have won only one Axe game, while the Rebs have won five Axe tilts.
