Show PAGE FOUR THE DIXIE SUN Kennecott Copper Makes Athlete Gets Spotlight Student Loan Fund Plan As Personality of Week A Kennecott corporation grant to Dixie college has made it possible to make further plans for the establishment of a student loan fund in the name of Dixie college. This grant which is one of the several issued to all Utah colleges and universities was in the form of a $714 check. A suggested set of rules and regulations for the administration of the fund is being drawn up by Mr. Mathew M. Bentley, treasurer of the college and the Dixie College Educational association. The set of suggested rules will be presented to a board for observation and correction. For a number of years the Dixie Educational association, a nonprofit corporation, had its own board of directors consisting of Dixie college faculty and other reputable citizens.
