Show Tuesday, Seniors Present 'This Old Barn' PAGE THREE THE DIXIE SUN February 15, 1955 Flyers Head Division Vith Win Over Wolves - - Program As - The Dixie Flyers downed the Enterprise Wolves on February 4, by a 57 to 53 score to take over undisputed possession of first place in the Dixie division. This victory was the Flyers fifth, against rio losses in league play. Enterprise led by two points at the first quarter and were ahead 30 to 24 at halftime. But in the third quarter Dixie moved ahead by three points and went on to win the game. Mel Miles was the leading scorer for the Flyers with 17 points. Week's Girl Personality The personality this week is Teddy Sue Seegmiller, who was the "Spirit of Fine Arts, had the lead role of Agatha Reed in the fine arts play, and who is cast for the dance lead of Lois Lane and Bianca in the forthcoming musical, Kiss Me, Kate. According to Teddy, persistence is the key to achievement. If you try long enough, you will eventually get what you want, she says. She tried everything, but not until this year did she gain any real honors. Teddy laughs as she says, I have taken piano lessons all my life and cant play a note; I cant even find middle C. A very healthy girl, Teddy says she has never been really ill in all her twenty years. She jumped the gun on New Years and arrived Dec. 31, 1934. She says hers is a teriffic famare very close and do everything together. The whole family came out when she reigned at the Fine Arts ball. Teddy was the first queen in the family. Teddy Sue is the fourth and last of her parents children. She loves children, particularly her 10 nieces and nephews and her Sunolds. day school class of Her one goal in life is to get married and rear a large family. She loves to travel. She and Shirlee Harris plan some day to tour Europe together. Last year she went with her family to the south to see her sister, and has been as far east as Alabama. With her family, and with the Spanish club she has visited Mexico. During her first three years at Dixie she was active in the Spanish club and the Pep club. In her junior year she was secretary of Psi chapter in Lambda Delta Sigma, general chairman of Spring Bridal day, and a member of the sociability committee and the junior prom committee. As a result of her participation in "Goodbye, she is now eligible My Fancy, for membership in Delta Psi of the Omega. As girls chapter in Lambda Delta Sigma, she was in charge of pledging new members. After her graduation from Dixie, she will probably continue her education ily.
