THE AMETIA CLUB Though we have been rather inactive of late, we are entirely conscious and as you will soon discover, very much alert. We are keenly anticipating girls day which is not very far in the future. The Ametia club has charge of one day each year known as girls day, and this day is inevitably a red letter day at the college. Our officers are now at work planning the events that will take place on this day. There will be the regular poem and story contest besides various competitive games. We are expecting a girls basketball team from one of the nearby schools to play with our girls basketball team. The dance at night will be given by the girls and the proceeds used in a way that will be most befitting to the girls of this institution. The Ametia club has so far had the privilege of listening to a few good talks given by noted townspeople and faculty The last was by members.
