Some months ago the institution offered a scholarship to the person who could best portray in song the spirit of Dixie College. The idea caught the interest o the Dixie students, and many songs were written and submitted. During the past two months J. W. .McAllister, music director, has been teaching the songs to the students, that they might judge more intelligently. Many of the writers" interpreted with considerable skill the wonderful spirit that prevades the Dixie College. Hail! all hail to thee!
