ball Thursday and made a prediction he is sure will come to pass The state will pay 75 percent of the $15 million needed to build three pedestrian overpasses for hundreds of schoolchildren crossing West Valley Highway he said Salt Lake County cities Jordan and Granite School Districts will cough up the rest Now Mr Moody along with Reps Kelly C Atkinson Lake Sen Stephen J Rees Lake Sen Dix H McMullin Lake and Michael G Wad-doult lt R-S- Lake just need to convince 100 other state legislators of the same Mr Moody's proposal would change funding for all skywalks over state roads making the state responsible for 75 percent of the cost with other entities covering the rest An ongoing battle over who should pay for the skywalks has brewed for longer than a year More than 150 parents
