Show 1 2 II The Salt Lake Tribune, October 4, 1981 USU Homecoming tl: Disbanded Sorority To Lead Parade Special to The Tribune Sorosis, Utah State Universitys first sorority founded as a literary society in 1898 and then disbanded in 1934, will serve as the Grand Marshall of USU the Homecoming parade Oct. 24 at 10 a.m. through downtown Logan. The sorority became a national chapter of Alpha Chi Omega in 1534, but members of the original club continued to meet. Today, there are about 40 members who still get together regularly, many of whom will ride in the USU parade. Since we take in no new members, our fate is eventual dissolution, said Sorosis president Ruth Layton Harrison. However, we will continue to meet as long as two of us are left. split leather hiking hoots LOGAN a I -' irou'o Reg. 49.99 pr. y Oo0nn0n00 Or,, 00Ocp 0oG$00 the great outdoors.
