I All owners of livestock livestock live live- stock within the he State tate sh shall ll within one year from the date of the approval of this act send to the Recorder of Marks and Brands for recording re-recording all recorded mal masks maiks ks and brands and brands used by them Sec 2 The recorder of marks and brands and brands shall for the said period if of one year receive for record free of charge all marks and brands recorded corded 1 m in his office and shall record re-record the same Sec 3 The recorder of marks an l brands brands shall after re recording said said marks marks and bra brands ds collate collat compile an index in a record of suitable size all such marks and brands brands- and and- shall furnish to the county the various counties in the State with with sufficient sufficient copies of said records for the use of suc such h clerks and the constable in in sal sai sai c d coun counties ties Sec 4 4 After the expiration o othe 01 of f the one year as provided in section 2 Z of this act the recorder of marks of-marks marks and brands shall shan proceed to record further marks and brands submitted for record as provided provid dby by law Sec 5 All marks marks- and brands h heretofore r recorded corded not recorded re as provided in this inthis this act are hereby declared obsolete and their record null nun and void Sec 6 The State Board of Examiners Examiners Ex Examiners Ex- Ex are hereby authorized to allow v such additional help and ex expenses expenses ex- ex to the the- Recorder of marks and brands as may be necessary to tarry carry provisions of this act into effect Sec 7 This act shall take effect upon approval Approved March nth 1897 1891 |
