Show War work schools, conducted under the auspices of the National War Work Council . of the Y. M. C. A. are being held at San Francisco and See-beck, See-beck, Wash. Large classes of young men are studying to become secretaries secre-taries assigned to military training stations. They are instructed in all phases of war work for the men in all branches of the service. Army officers give them military information, trained train-ed Y. M. C. A. men teach them religious reli-gious work methods, physical directors direc-tors instruct them in recreative games and they are informed as to hygiene, and association history and its principles. prin-ciples. It is expected that in October it may be necessary to institute similar simi-lar schools owng to the demand for secretaries for war work. |
