Show COMMISSIONERS MEETING The board of county commissioners met in regular session Monday, all members being present. Ordinance No. 28, granting to Ferron Fer-ron Waterworks Co. a franchise to extend pipeline along the state road south of Ferron town was passed. Bid of J. E. Sitterud for the delivery of twelve tons of coal and 3 cords of dry cedar wood for the courthouse, was accepted, the bid amounting to $58. Oscar Beebe appeared before the board, and asked for an appropriation to do some work on the Hanksville-Green Hanksville-Green River road. On proper motion an appropriation of $200 was made, bills to that amount to be paid by the county after same have been O. K.'d by Beebe, the work to be placed in the hands of Beebe. Dr. T. C. Hill was appointed health officer at Huntington. Letter from L. A. AlcGee concerning concern-ing claim of Dr. C. T. Rose amounting to $18, for inspection of "disease-breeding "disease-breeding pools'" in the vicinity of the town of Cleveland and threatening I suit for collection of said claim, was referred to the county attorney. |
