coeds two of them exchange students from Norway Officers said the two European coeds and an American girl who were fellow students at "a midwestern university" were attacked Sept 18 at Velarde N M by five youths Two youths held in custody Jose Telsfor Martinez and Ubaldo Fresquez were charged with assault with intent to commit criminal assault An alert was out for the other three men They were identified as Ross Herrera and Manuel Lujan charged with criminal assault and Jose Cirilio Fresquez charged with assault with intent to commit criminal assault Police said the three-coed- s were hitch-hikin- g back to school after touring the southwest when six youths in two cars stopped and offered them a lift The girls whose ages were listed as 20 21 and 22 said the youths turned off the highway and stopped at a lonely spot where five of the boys joined in attacking them The district attorney's office here which reported the charges Wednesday refused to disclose the girls' names or
