Wil-i Wil-i lams, providing for the establishment j of state employment offices at Salt I Lake City and Ogden with a commis-i commis-i sioner for each to be appointed by the j governor and alo calling for a suit- able apprpriation for the same, failed of passage this week, lacking the necessary nec-essary majority vote in its favor. The meeting to be held for the purpose pur-pose of perfecting a farmers club organisation or-ganisation in the Dale, which was to i have been held last night, has been ! postponed until tonight. Mr. Sullivan, the county agent, who is assisting in organizing the different towns of the county, was unable to get up from Emery in time for last night meeting. Everybody who is interested in farming, farm-ing, however indirectly, is invited to be present tonight. , The vaudeville performance presented pre-sented by -the E. S. A. student body last Thursday niht was a roaring success suc-cess from every point of view. Every performer did himself proud in the rendition of his "bit" and all contri-buu-d toward making the whole the success it was. Some big surprises were presented, and it is sale to say-that say-that there was no one who felt that he did not get more than twice his money's mon-ey's worth in the way of wholesome entertainment. Hyrum Seely, the well known sheep man, will replenish the supplies ofhis three camps in the vicinity of Hanks-ville Hanks-ville with the aid of Uncle Sam the coming month, and, if his experiment proves the success it promises, it may become quite the usual thing, at least during the winter season. Something like tw o tons of grain, flour, and other suppiles composed the huge shipment entered at the local postoffice for mailing to the Wayne county point last Saturday morning, and the entire shipment was on its way by Monday notwithstanding the muddy condition of the roads.
