Show COMMITTEES AT WORK SECURINC BEET ACREACE Meetings have been held in most of the larger towns of the county the past week, with the result that auxiliary auxil-iary committees are out in eacli place, jll working h inl for the acreage neces-j;iry neces-j;iry to insure a railroad and sugar fuc-try fuc-try for Castle valley. A rousing hip; meeting was held at Ferron last Saturday night and a good live committee, composed of Messrs. Hyrum Nelson, Oscar Nelson, Lewis Piterson, and Ferdinand Bidding, was nmied to assist J. G. Lemon, the committee com-mittee man from Ferron, in the cam-p;,;)?n cam-p;,;)?n in that district, and the good work is new well underway. The Ferron committee members were slso in attendance at the local meeting held Monday night, when the following committee was named: Peter Johan-sen, Johan-sen, Lars Christensen, Wm. E. King, and Jos. Denison. The Orangeville meeting was held on Wednesday night and a very enthusistic jpirit was manifest at the meeting, all who expressed themselves being most optimistically inclined. Messrs. Wm. Tatton, J. B. Craw ford, Andrew Anderson, And-erson, ai d Wm. F. Fail were appointed' to cooperate with Bishop Reid in the canvassing of the town. Hunti gton, Clawson, and other places hav also held meetings but detailed de-tailed reports are not available for this i?sue. A rousing meeting is planned for Elmo next Tuesday night. - |
