J The bishops of the several wards will be asked to act as a special com-I com-I mittee to report investigate the circumstances cir-cumstances of every enlisted and drafted soldier and sailor of their re-I re-I spective communities, said report to be made to the county councl. Geo. M. Miller, Wm. J. Seely, Wm. T. Reid, and Mrs. Louisa Oveson were delegated to attend the meeting of state and county councils which was to be held in the Hotel Utah at Salt Lake City yesterday afternoon. The first Monday of each month was selected for a regular meeting day but it is likely that special meetings will ! be held from time to time. I |
