Recommendation to pay the hill received from the county will be made by Public Safety Commissioner Louis E. Holley. Dr. Richard J. Nelson, city health commissioner, has recommended to Commissioner Holley that the city raise birth and death certificate fees from $1 to $2 effective July 1. Dr. Nelson said the increase would give the city $12,000 yearly, which could be used in the general fund.
