Show CARD OF TIIAXKS We wish to express through the columns of the Progress, our heartfelt heart-felt thanks for the kindness shown us in our bereavement by our friends throughout the county. Wm. Dugmore and Children The new industrial map of the inter-mountain region, published by the Inter-State Map Co., of Salt Lake, is finished and being delivered. A folder fold-er map of the same can be had in the near future as a handy pocket guide for travelers by writing to the above named company, (adv.) Vergis Olsen of Ferron, who volunteered volun-teered for service in the armyand took the examination at Price, was not accepted ac-cepted as he was found to be suffering suffer-ing slightly from goitre. Roy Nelson, another Ferron lad who joined the four others the morning after the farewell party tendered the boys at Ferron was also returned as he was found to be suffering from leakage of the heart when he was examined at Salt Lake. We have been favored with a picture of the four boys who enlisted, the courtesy of A. Kopf, the Price photographer. Not many towns the size of Castle Dale can boast of a really-truly movie star of the first magnitude, but we are proud to claim Art Acord who stars on the "fillum" as Buck Parvin and the best of it is the fact that that gentleman is here at the present time visiting at the home of his brother, S. V. Acord. It is probable that a broncho-busting exhibition will be arranged ar-ranged before he leaves and an effort will be made to get the Wilberg bull which put up such a showing with Paul Herring last fall at the time of the county fair. Herring may also be secured to add a little to the excitement. |
